I think I had a better experience with Hope than you did, so I feel a little more favorably toward him than the others, but generally I agree. It's important not to forget the actual situation, and how they act when things get bad.

[Like now, with the continued lack of resources; he can't really blame Hope considering he's injured, but the other gods could at least try filling in for him a little. But it's clear they don't care that much as long as everyone isn't dropping dead, and therefore not providing them any energy.]

He agreed to ask Sorrow about finding out if it was possible to use the Door to send me back to my world at a slightly earlier time than I came from.

[It's probably obvious why that's important to him. But considering Sorrow's dead now, the whole idea is probably even more wishful thinking than it already had been, and this is part of the reason he ended up so depressed over the last few weeks.]

I don't really talk to any of them besides Hope, so it's kind of hard for me to say, but they were all pretty unpleasant on the announcement about Delight. Do you have a particular one you like the least yourself?

Still counts. My least favorite serial killer is dead too, but they're still my least favorite.

[Although they only win that title just barely, even if their competition is also dead. Serial killers suck.]

I wish I could, but I had pretty much nothing to do with catching the number one terrible serial killer on the list. I'll still accept being called Batman, though.

Have you ever met someone that just had nothing behind their eyes? Like there was no hint of a soul or a conscience anywhere in them?

It's super creepy.

I've only met a few, even having a job where I deal with murderers all day, but she was one of them. Her standard operating procedure was to bury people alive, and then extort their families for a ransom in return for the location of their loved one.

A few, although the time limit was usually very short and she wasn't exactly great at estimating it to begin with. If the ransom was successfully paid, though, then yes; we know of four successful rescues.

so what happened?

Before I started working with Dr. Brennan and everyone else, they investigated the cases of two of her previous victims. This drew her attention to the team, and she targeted two of them but the others were able to find them in time. Later, after I joined everyone, she went after another person in the group in order to extort the destruction of some evidence, but she made too many mistakes and we identified her; that lead us to be able to rescue the person she'd abducted.

[He's being vague on who was involved mostly because it's a sensitive topic, and although he doesn't think Brennan would be too bothered by being named he doesn't know how Hodgins or Booth would feel about it, if they ever arrived here.]

She was later convicted of the first murder she committed, which our team also investigated, but she didn't serve much jail time. Another serial killer murdered her.

[Which... Was no huge loss, honestly, except that it meant that the new serial killer was a problem. The murder also happened about five feet from Lance, which was a bit distressing for a few days.]
