Although a convenient label to assign to serial killers, or criminals in general, that's because it provides an easy way to distance oneself from them rather than recognize that many are essentially very normal people. It's a lot simpler to believe that murderers completely lack empathy and compassion, rather than that they just decide their own needs and wants are more important than another person's life, which is something anyone could do.

Learning by doing is the easiest way, at least for me, so we'll probably start by working on learning something simple. A lot of playing piano is getting used to where the keys are and hitting them with the right timing, so playing easy songs works really well in that.
