the Judge touched down in late 2018, everything sort degraded really rapidly over 4 or 5 months and then
no satellites, metal's too risky so minimal generators, no cell phones, lots of alcohol as a coping mechanism, and it also sort of stopped mattering when it was Tuesday or when it was Blorbsday or whatever
