[His better reaction is her covering her face with her hands and letting out a dramatic, distressed sound as she flops back onto the bed.]

I'm kicking you out and making you walk home in your stupid elephant dick thong!

[hardwearing]

[ He can't help it, he bursts out laughing at that, coming right up to the edge of the bed and waiting for her to peek back out from behind her hands. ]

Oh, come on, it's funny. Admit it. It wants to say hi.

[Nope, her hands are firmly over her eyes, and she's not moving.]

I hate you so much.

[She's not saying hi!]

[hardwearing]

You're such a liar.

[ He's not actually willing to pull her hands away and force her to look, but leans down over her bracing himself with an arm on either side. Her nose is peeking out between her hands so he kisses the tip of it, still smiling. ]

[Ugh, that's so sweet it's not fair. Reluctantly, she peeks through her fingers, watching him suspiciously.]

[hardwearing]

[ She can't see it right now with how he's leaning over but it's there. Lying in wait. Eyes still googly. ]

You did say surprise you with it.

[She knows this and she hates it.]

I didn't think it would be... that.

[hardwearing]

I tried to warn you.

[ Admit that it's funny, Kyna!!! ]

Fine, close your eyes and I'll take it off. We can toss it now, it's served its purpose.

[evocation]

[No! She's dying! She lifts up a foot, kicking at his leg gently.]

What purpose?

[hardwearing]

Being a joke? I did think you'd at least laugh, though.

[ He's maybe a little disappointed, even if her reaction was still funny. But he's straightening up to remove it now, better look away. ]

[Her lips twitch a bit.]

I can't laugh. That means you win.

[hardwearing]

Win what?

[ That little twitch is promising... and she's not hiding her eyes this time. So when it's off he tosses it at her. It lands trunk-up on her bare stomach. ]

[She lets out another offended squeak, and then finally bursts out laughing.]

God, you're such a jerk.

[And then she's grabbing it and throwing it at his face.]

[ There we go. He looks quite pleased with himself as he lets it hit him and fall to the floor. ]

When you're plotting revenge, just remember you brought this upon yourself.

[ Is he allowed back on the bed? ]

You're the one that started it. I didn't do anything.

[He can try it!]

[hardwearing]

You wanted to see the worst, I showed you the worst.

[ He is absolutely trying, and reaching for her again like he expects to pick up where they left off. ]

[evocation]

[She slaps his hands away gently, but she's grinning, so there's no way she's actually serious.]

You're the worst.

[hardwearing]

[ Yeah that doesn't strike him as an actual reprimand, he's just trying again. ]

I could hang it on the lamp so it can watch?

Ugh. I'm never touching you again.

[hardwearing]

[ Wash sighs, trying to sound resigned despite the fact he's still grinning. Since he absolutely doesn't believe that lie. ]

Fine. But if you're not kicking me out....

[ He's going to claim his usual side of the bed and stretch out to take care of things himself, glancing back over at her as he does. She hasn't made any effort to cover up, and he can work with a view. Let's see if she can really keep her hands to herself. ]

[evocation]

Fine.

[She says it stubbornly, settling down beside him. She's going to last about five minutes, tops.]

[hardwearing]

[ This'll be a fun game. Not anything he's done before but he's not shy around her at this point. So he sets a relaxed pace, designed so he can hold out, pretty sure she's going to cave. Maybe when he arches and sighs her name. ]

[evocation]

[Kyna does her best to pretend that she's totally unaffected, but she does an absolutely terrible job. She's fidgeting, and try as she might, she can't keep her eyes off of him. She keeps sneaking glances, biting her lip in a desperate attempt to distract herself. It's absolutely torturous, and when he sighs her name, the aching need for him to touch her becomes unbearable, and she breaks. Maybe later she'll call him out for toying with her like this, but for now she just lets out a frustrated breath, close to a growl, and rolls over to kiss him, needy and rough.]

[hardwearing]

[ That sound makes him think for a second he took the little game too far, but then she's kissing him instead of storming off so it's okay, right? He lets go of himself immediately, hands on her as he kisses back just as needily. Time to catch her up. ]

[Kyna apparently has other ideas, because she reaches down to wrap her fingers around him and pick up the pace where he left off. She completely failed to prove whatever stupid point she was trying to make, but she can't get herself to care.]
