You know me, Kyna, that's sort of my point... I guess if I can show I have a few people behind me that'd help. You think anyone will listen?

Authoritative hasn't really worked for me before, they just got angry at being told what to do. But the Reds and Blues might be a special case.

[evocation]

Probably. People like when someone has a plan and is all ready to do it, right? I mean, as long as the plan doesn't suck.

[hardwearing]

First lesson in leadership: there are always people who are going to think the plan sucks, no matter how logical it is. Without authority you'd better be charismatic -- I'm not.

[evocation]

What? You're totally charismatic.

[She finally sits up, leaning over to kiss him on the cheek.]

[ Patience!! Wash grins and starts typing in earnest. ]

[Kyna blows a raspberry at him in response.]

Chop chop. I'm a very busy person, David.

[hardwearing]

[ Wash blinks when she uses his real name, then smiles slightly. It's less weird when she just slips it in like that, feels like something private between them. It's okay. He just sasses back, doesn't comment on it. ]

Busy napping. Don't let me keep you up, this might take a minute.

[Kyna grins at that, pleased by his little smile.]

It's called beauty rest. You should be thanking me.

[ This is distracting!! But he's not letting that one go. ]

Kyna please, people are gonna wonder why the hell you're with me if you get any more beautiful.

[evocation]

[She laughs, genuinely surprised.]

What? You're like, the hottest guy I've ever dated.

[hardwearing]

[ Wash shakes his head, keeping it up. ]

Nope, I'd have to start wearing tighter shirts or something to keep up, then I'd just look like a douchebag...

[evocation]

Maybe, but I wouldn't complain.

[She pokes at his side. She's definitely helping him get this done.]

Besides, you don't get how attractive you really are.

[hardwearing]

[ No poking!! Wash swats at her hand, if she keeps it up there's going to be a poke war and she will not win. ]

You keep saying that. Do you want me to get an ego?

[evocation]

Yes. You could use a little more ego.

[Annnd she's definitely poking again.]

[hardwearing]

[ Okay writing this thing is on hold for a bit, he's setting his phone down and lifting a hand, waggling his fingers menacingly. ]

Okay so when you're begging me to stop in a minute or so just remember. You started this.

[evocation]

[Kyna gasps in feigned shock, grabbing for his hands.]

I didn't do anything.

[hardwearing]

You poked me first and your fingers are pointy.

[ He pulls his hands free easily, getting his revenge by poking her in the stomach, right where she's most ticklish. ]

[evocation]

[Kyna lets out an offended squeak, trying to wiggle backwards.]

Hey! Quit slacking on your post!

[hardwearing]

It can wait five minutes-- [ he reconsiders ] --make it two and a half. I think that's about all you can take.

[ Cuz he's giving chase and tickling properly now. ]
