I'm actually great at complaining, but I'm terrible at getting drunk (and taking advantage of the kindness of strangers). Are you sure you want any of that? It does come with a good ear.

[Kyna's snagged a booth off to the side, easy to spot from the door. The bar is nice, but much smaller than Red Wings. It's got a cozy vibe, and is clearly trying to mimic an old, historic Amsterdam bar with fake dark wood and low lighting. It's chill, which Kyna thought they could both use.
She waves a bit, wiggling her fingers when she spots him.]
[ As he waves back, he shakes off her concern and slides into the booth across from Kyna. He's not cheery, no, but at least he doesn't look annoyed (or haunted). Just his usual level of perturbed. ]
Are you? What's goin' on? You look nice, at least from what I can see in here.
[ These are not complaints but, in fact, the rare part of Blake that reads a little bit bitchy thanks to his only-child(ish)ness and slight amount of high school level loyalty he starts showing people he cares about. It's not shade towards Kyna's choice, or shade towards the bar itself, just some insurance in case they need something else to talk about before they get to any potentially bad news. ]
