Well... Yeah, I mean, I don't know. Help people with food or just clearing away vines or... something. Right?

[ He cut down the vines screwing up his room--everyone else can do the same, can't they? But if Kyna's the one asking him to do something, he might actually do it. ]

The food thing's probably gonna be the harder one, but...maybe, right?

[ He shrugs, and yeah, there's some doubt in there. ]

We got ourselves to look out for, too.

We can't just only look out for ourselves and forget about everyone else. That's shitty.

[There's a rush of disbelief and frustration before she untangles her fingers from his and pulls her hand away, shooting him a look.]

[ He's sitting up a little straighter, arm slipping from where it's been comfortably around her. ]

Why does it matter if they're strangers or not?
