That's very deterministic of you. Worthiness implies a higher power to ordain it, doesn't it?
I'm more interested in who built the gates and set the traps.

if you talk to some people here, they'll say it has something to do with gods
there's a cult that thinks we're god touched or something
i don't know if i buy that
but the tests i had to deal with in the ruins i went to were all very kumbaya

i'm from a different version of earth so i already knew about some of the places these ruins were
idk if all of the tests were using the same theme or what
but if they were that would be weird
those cultures are really different

You're familiar enough with them to make that judgment, at least.
It's infuriating to be thrust into this and feel my hands are tied behind my back because I know nothing of the world's history or its people.
It couldn't be further from where I came from.

Chaotic. Cold.
But quieter than this one. There are more people in this city than on the whole of the Continent.
The rest, though, it's the same. Some people have everything, built on the backs of others with nothing.
