[When she sees the shift in his expression, she loops her arm through his, leaning into him. It's an intentional use of the empathy bond, just to show him she's not judging.]

It might be bare, as rooms go, but now at least it's not the dim place they first stepped into. ] And one of 'em involves being unconscious.
