[ Wash raises a hand in greeting, and finds himself smiling faintly at the fact that she came, and quickly. He's not used to people wanting to spend time with him quite like this, especially not someone he just met. The closer she gets the clearer their size difference becomes, and he realizes he'd forgotten just how small she is. Seeing her around she seemed taller. She just had that kind of energy, maybe, larger than her physical form. ]

[ He tilts his head in the direction he wants to walk, as if to ask 'shall we?' ]
[Kyna's volume probably makes up for her stature—still, being her makes her feel vulnerable in a way she's not used to, especially stripped of her magic. Being extra energetic or angry is almost being a defense mechanism at this point.
She looks relaxed now, at least, and she shoots him a little smile.]

[ Wash translates that to "I'm dealing because I have no choice" and his smile back is understanding, as well as amused how she chose to phrase it. She reminds him of home, honestly. He can't help thinking she'd get along famously with his team. ]

[ It's been a few days, enough for him to be reasonably certain there's nothing in their food or water there, but he's not really sleeping and doesn't trust that there aren't bugs somewhere. Or moles. Hell, maybe Sharkface is right and this place is advanced enough to monitor them through their implants too besides location info, but that degree of paranoia would probably wreck him so he's choosing to believe it's primarily the network and Safehouse that are being watched.
They fall into step together, Wash taking slightly shorter ones so she doesn't have to feel rushed. ]

[ The raspberry gets a soft huff, not quite a laugh because it takes an awful lot to pry one of those out of him, but obviously more amusement. He shrugs a little, almost apologetically. ]

Kyna can probably tell that he's not used to smalltalk, though, his delivery slightly awkward. More like shyness than anything, his cadence off like he's questioning what he's saying and then rushing to get it out. ]
Actually, yeah. In general, but especially that post since it mentioned security. I'd be better at that than customer service... turned out they'd already gotten a few offers, though.
